Here we go, I have been in the industry going on 37 years. I absolutely enjoy working with people! My favorite hobby of course is spending time with my grandson Wesley who we share a birthday so he is a little spoiled by me. I am a very down to earth guy and enjoy things such as hunting, flea markets and farmers markets. I love being with my family. I certainly enjoy the interaction with my customers, which makes this business so enjoyable for me and have made many of friends thru this journey. Respect and honesty is vital to do well and not just tell the customer what they want to hear, ether its good or bad, they always need to hear the truth. DISGUSTING customer service.

DISGUSTING customer service. Buyers, look out for the wolf in sheep’s clothing at this dealership. I recently purchased a 2017 Nissan Sentra from this dealership. My main concern with the car was the transmission issues that have been common with this line of cars. The salesman assured me that this wasn’t the case with the 2017 model anymore as Nissan had fixed the issue they were having and this run of cars no longer had the same problems of the 2016. Two days after owning the car, I could feel something wrong with the transmission. I thought I was paranoid as the transmission of the previous car that I owned had given out while on the highway, so I kept driving it. A couple weeks later, I was still experiencing these issues. I even felt the car lose power going up a hill and so this spurred me to take the car in to get looked at. The Russ Darrow service garage found a transmission code but felt that it wasn’t a big deal and sent me on my way. I went to a Nissan dealer to get a second opinion and there they found a transmission code, as well, and recommended that I get the entire transmission replaced. Now of course, I was slightly over Russ Darrow’s 1000-mile warranty and so they offered me ABSOLUTELY NO HELP with my car and told me to look elsewhere. Three weeks of owning this car and I’ve lost thousands of dollars on something that was almost certainly a problem with the car when they sold it to me. Thank you for the headache. I will take my business elsewhere.

They know how to hand out a line of crap!! The salesperson Mark acted like he had my back at first. WELL. Bought vehicle Sept 2022, the vehicle had problems 1 hour after driving off lot, called Mark right away and he had service call the next morning to bring it in. Quess what! there is nothing wrong with your vehicle. The finance person (Guy) rode with me and I pointed out what I noticed, and he didn't hear or feel anything (Imagine that.) Told me you just have to get use to it WHAT!! get use to it. I called the following week left messages and NO ONE I mean NO ONE! has yet to call me back. Very frustrated with them and this vehicle. Once bought they want nothing to with you!! They have their car salesmanship down to a science of BS

I recently bought a vehicle from Russ Darrow in Appleton. Mark Huth told me he would have service go thru and beautify it. However I would have to come back to do it. I scheduled a appointment and mentioned to Mark to make sure the dings got taken out and was told well we looked at pictures and they weren't in there when you bought it. So now I'm left with a car with two dings that were supposed to be fixed and now they won't stand behind it.

I have shopped at a few dealerships in the recent years and I can say Russ Darrow of Appleton has been by far the best customer service I have experienced. The non pressure and honest informative salesman we encountered was a pleasure to have met. The personable treatment while working with the staff was such a different atmosphere than I have experienced from other dealerships. The only reason I give it a 3 stars, it is because the sales people were friendly. Other than that I had problem with my car right away. I had to be back and forth for 1 month of taking my car to dealership to figure out why my car voice command was not working, they could not figure out what the issue was, and had to go to Nissan Bergstrom just to find out I needed a TCU replacement, the only good thing I had bought the extended warranty or I would have been screwed with an estimate of $2,000 to fix. It was a really frustrating situation because I did not had to go through that, and put more money out my pocket, when I had recently bought the car, and still making payments for a couple of more years to come.

We purchased a 2017 Kia Sedona from Russ Darrow Direct. The entire process was quick and easy. I told them what I was looking for and how much I would spend and how much I needed for my trade. They met all my requests. I had done research on my trade value beforehand so I had a pretty good idea what I was up against. It was an easy process and at no time did I feel like I was being "sold".

STAY AWAY FROM RUSS DARROW APPLETON

ING WARNING **********************************Do not ever trust these people********************************they will lie about everything to get a sale. I bought a vehicle here and have spend more than I paid for the vehicle in repairs. They tell you to buy a warranty from Zurich for a lot of money and then do not stand behind their products!!!!! I bought the vehicle and should have know that the salesman was lying to me. The vehicle "allegedly" passed inspection, and was told by the salesman that they would make sure the airbag light was fixed before I picked up the vehicle. Guess what...it was not and now they want 650 dollars to fix the airbags. The vehicle was making terrible noises 2 months after I purchased it. The vehicle had no oil in it. None of the dash warning lights ever warned me of no oil. The vehicle like I said was purchased 2 months before. I checked the oil and sure enough no oil in it. I took it in and they said " I couldn't tell you why no oil light came on but we need to tear this engine down at a cost of 700 dollars so that Zurich....the warranty would put a new engine in. Zurich denied the claim of course after appealing it was still denied stating that it was :wear and tear". I tried to speak with the Dealership Manager but of course only got his voicemail and had other employees call me back. Weak!!!!! He is to afraid to deal with the customers and complaints because he knows that he is selling junk and warranties that mean nothing. Just beware of these tactics. I am in the process of filing a lemon law claim with the State of Wisconsin, as well as going to the DOT for selling the vehicle without airbags working. I am also in the process of filing a Federal DOT claim for inspection fraud, along with filing a lawsuit against this dealership for unfair and deceiving sales practices. Good thing I have them recorded stating these falsehoods about the airbag being fixed before I picked up the vehicle and also about the warranty "covering anything on the power train" which is what the salesman stated. He said that I would never have to worry because Zurich covers "everything", that is why it is worth the cost. All in all never, I REPEAT never purchase any vehicle or warranty from this dealership. Unless you like being cheated, lied to, disrespected, and taken advantage of and spending more that you purchased the vehicle for!!!!!!!!!!!! RUSS DARROW SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!!!!

Best car buying experience I've had. I've purchased 4 trucks in the last 12 years. Very thorough with explaining things to me during the buying process. They actually listen to you and aren't just looking to take your money. Way more honest on trade in and selling price. Wonderful experience

This dealership had very friendly staff who were very helpful with the process and finding the right car for me. The only issue I had was they could not use my credit union for the loan, but they were able to find me one with about the same interest rate. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a used vehicle!

My 2008 Ford Ranger

I found my 2008 Ford Ranger during a Sunday excursion with my wife looking for just this kind of truck. From the point of inquiry online to the closet of the deal the staff was very responsive and helpful in getting a no BS deal done with me and getting the truck delivered to me the day after test driving and settling on the price/drawing the contract up.
